Because our class sizes are limited, we require a non-refundable registration deposit of up to 20% which will be applied to your class registration cost.

Power Sculpt Teacher Training: April-May 2015

Power Sculpt Teacher Training is a great program for anyone wanting to deepen their practice or learn to teach a sculpt class. The 60-hour program begins with a weekend intensive, followed by an additional Sunday and evening training sessions one a week for six weeks. Our team will lead you through the components of this intense, but easy-to-follow yoga program - how to build a yoga sequence with weights, strength training principles, anatomy, creative sequencing, theming and safety.

  • Program Length: 6 weeks
  • Location: West Glen, April 18-19; Downtown, Wednesdays & May 3
  • Weekday Dates: 6:30 to 10 p.m. on Wednesday evenings, April 22-May 27
  • Weekend Dates: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturdays & Sundays, April 18-19 & May 3
  • Investment: $950 ($500 non-refundable deposit to reserve your spot)

  • Unlimited yoga during training

Kids' Yoga Teacher Training: April 2015

Founder of Young Warriors (as seen on CNN), Christen Bakken, returns from Denver, CO with her wealth of knowledge in kids', tweens' and family yoga. Sarah Shelquist, Kids' Programming Director at Power Life Yoga, will assist Christen for this training.Training will include: the philosophy and benefits of yoga for children; the general framework for instruction (poses, breath work, games and music); yoga format instruction for specific classes (tot, pre-k, kid, tween and family yoga); meditation and stillness for children, classroom management techniques; and the business of kids' yoga. Trainees will observe numerous kids' yoga classes to enhance learning and build practical skills from real-life experience. Space is limited.

  • Location: Downtown, April 25-26 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Investment: $300
  • All trainees receive a detailed manual filled with tips, tricks and helpful resources.
  • Continuing Education Credits available for educators through Heartland AEA.
